first trip to hongkong

Question

hi, my family and i (8 persons) booked a flight in hongkong on Aug 8 - 11.. can anyone recommend the cheapest hotel there is accessible to hotspots and might as well near the international airport? and also, we're planning to go to macau. should we book tickets for the train ride prior to the trip or can we just buy it there?thank you so much!!

Well, I think it is not advisable to choose a hotel near the international airport. I suggest you find a hostel at Mongkok or Tsim Sha Tsui area which is convenient for your trip in HK. The Anne Black - Ywca may be suitabel for you as a budget hotel.   The best way to go to Macau from Hk is by ferry. You can buy the ferry ticket upon your arrival at the ferry terminal.
