About:Visa Policy of China

Swiss citizen traveling in Asia apply China visa in south Korea.

Hi,
I'm a Swiss citizen who currently travels in Asia. Right now, I am in South Korea and my plan is to visit a friend in Shanghai. After the trip, I am planning to return to Korea and then continue my trip.

What is the best way for me to obtain a Chinese tourist visa?

Thanks

You can not apply for a China visa from Chinese embassy in South Korea since you are required to provide ARC valid for more than 6 months. So, if possible, you can rearrange your visit to HK and apply for a China visa there. It is easy for you. The procesing takes 4 working days under regular service.
