Malaysian citizen (US green card holder) transit in Pudong Airport, do I need a transit visa?

Hi, I'm a Malaysian citizen and also a US green card holder, my husband is a US citizen, we will be transiting in Shanghai Pudong, the transit time is more than 24 hours, do we both need a visa? what kind?

Your US husband don't need a transit visa for the more than 24 hours stopver in Shanghai, he can also exit the airport. However, you need a transit visa for more than 24 hours transit time. Please apply for a transit visa in advance.
