limited time to xian from beijingshanghai

Possible or feasible all in one day: Fly early from Beijing to Xian OR Shanghai to Xian and do the above tour?

It's possible to fly to Xian from Beijing or Shanghai in early morning, and then visit Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horsses on the left day.  From the Xian Xianyang airprot, you can take the airprot shuttle bus to Xian railway station, then transfer to Toursim Bus no. 5  to the museum directly.
