About:China Visa

If a minor child, under 18 years old, applies for a visa - what additional documents are needed?

1. birth certificate copy-why since their passport proves they were born in U.S.?
2. parents' passport copies-copy of information page. What if parents do not have passports?

Hi, JHL, do you mean to apply for a visa to China as a minor child under 18 years old? what is the purpose of your visit to China? For tourism or study?
