if a filipino traveler who plans to stay for a vacation for 3 months in macau, will visa needed?

Yes, you need to apply for a Macau visa for 3 months stay. There is another option, you are exempt from a visa to Macau for 30 days, when then 30 days stay duration will expire, you can go to Hong Kong, then return to Macau for another 30 days stay duration, you can do it again for another 30 days stay duration.
