2 day intinerary for Beijing?

I will be in Beijing for 2 1/2 days next weekend. I am staying at the 9 Dragons Hostel. Can anyone reccomend a good intinerary of must sees that I can reasonably do in this time period? I have been living in China for over a year, so I feel comfortable with public transportation, etc. but this is my first trip to Beijing

So, I guess you would like to see the most attraction in Beijing on weekend. The hostel is located close to Zhangzizhang Lu station of Beijing subway Line 5.
Day 1, you could take subway to Qianmen, and then walk across the Tian'anmen Square to vist the Forbidden City. You will exit from its north gate and have lunch there. Then, you could take bus 614 or 685 to get to Temple of Heaven. The bus stop is called Fahuasi(法华寺). When the tour ends, you could take a bus, many choice, to the Qianmen Street, both for supper and touring. Finally, you could view the night view of Tiananmen Square and back to hotel by metro.
2. It is suggested that you take subway to Jishuitan station and then walk to Deshengmen Bus Terminus, where you can find bus 919 to Badaling Great Wall. Suggested that you leave for the Wall in the early morning and then back to Deshengmen around lunch time. After lunch, you could take subway Line 4 to visit Summer Palace, and then proceed to the Olympic site if you like.
All in all, you'd better have a look at Beijing subway map in advance, which should be the most convenient transportation.
