Sir, I have applied for a permit which has not yet been granted. I am waiting for the residence permit.  I came to India before getting the residence permit because of important work, Now I have to go back to China. I have been given the receipt for applying the residence permit. The residence permit has not been issued yet. What is the type of visa I should apply and what are the papers required.

You should apply for work visa to China and you have to organize all the required papers for work visa application again. After entering China, get the issued residence permit, then it can be used a multiple entry visa to enter and exit China.
