Re: Register of Marriage in China

Hi, Im Filipina i will be marry a chinese citizen this July. I want to know what are the documents I need to prepare to register our marriage in my fiance's hometown. We already go there but they said we need to Phil. Embassy in Beijing to get the Certification then we can register in my fiance's homerown. They show us a sample of certificate it states there "based the doc. presented to this Embassy....." it is the marital status. I believe its the CENOMAR (certificate no marriage), Is it correct? Also I want to know what are the other doc. that i need to bring & how long it takes to get the certification. Pls. help me.

You can read https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/marriage-registration.htm as a reference. In order to get your marriage registrated in China, you need to get a single status in Philippines, and it should be stamped both by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Chinese embassy or consulate in your area of residence.
