i am a filipino,do i need a china visa if i will only stay for one week?

Yes, you need to apply for a China visa even if you will only stay in China for one week. If you are now in Japan, you can apply for a China visa from Chinese embassy or consulate in Japan which hold your area of residence. If for tourism, you need a tourist visa L; if for business, you are required to apply for a Business visa F.
