Can I apply for a tourist visa to visit China in your embassy, Bern, Switzerland?

I have a UK passport, and an address in Switzerland, but do not hold a swiss residence permit.Can I apply for a tourist visa to visit China in your embassy, Bern, Switzerland

You can try to apply for a tourist visa to visit China at China embassy in Bern, Switzerland. In principal, applicants should apply visa in the country where they reside or work. You can submit the entry record to Switzerland on your passport to substitue the Swiss residence permit.
