About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

Visa for a USA resident to go to China.

Hello, Myself and another American Citizen will be traveling to China on business along with an American resident. I am planning to come to Chicago to apply for the Visas and I was wondering as to what documents I will need to bring along for the Resident in order to apply for all three visas. Thank you. You need to bring the below documents for business visa application:
1. Applicants' valid passport as well as a copy of its information page.

2. Application form V.2011A: neatly completed Visa Application Form with genuine information and signature. (USA resident also should fill Application form V.2011B)

3. Photo: one recently-taken color photo of 2x2 square inch glued or stapled on the application form.

4. Visa Notifications Form from an authorized Chinese Unit, or invitation letters from the host company, meeting or exhibition organizers in China, or an introduction letter from applicant's US company, etc.

5. Non-US citizens who want to apply visa need provide the original and a photocopy of certificates for permit for residence, work, study or valid US visa.
