About:Year of the Rat

I am a Rat who marries a Dog almost 33 years ago. Are we doomed?

I am a female Rat born 20 July 1960. 33 years ago I met and married a man born in 24 December 1958 in the year of the dog. He has had a bad year so far. He lost his job after many years. Are we a match and will our lives get any better this year or are we hopeless and doomed? Please advise..
