Traveling south east china

In July am traveling from Beijing and want to visit south east China and then south east Asia.
Could I fly to Xian (expensive right now), then train to Guizhou (Guilin), Yunnan, Kunming (Shangri la) in Sichuan, then to Lhasa. After that to Nepal, then Delhi, etc.

We want to see pandas, eat interesting and spicey food, and great sites.
Is this path a smooth one or is there a better way?

Thanks

The route is fine but the problem is that individual foreign visitors are not allowed to enter Tibet. You go to Nepal by air or by road? If you go by road via zhangmu Border, you should also have borper permit aside from Tibet travel permit which can only be handled by a travel agent. I would rather suggest you take train from Beijing to Xian and then fly to Guilin. It is only 11 hours by train from Beijing to Xian and Guilin is much farther. See pandas and eat intering and spicy food in Chengdu.
