I was invited to attend a symposium in shanghai on May 30, 2011. My passport expires on October 26, 2011. I have already filed an appointment with the DFA for the renewal of my passport but the earliest date they gave me is May 27, 2011. It will take 3-4 weeks before they release my new passport. So i re scheduled the appointment on July 8, 2011. Can i get a visit visa, I planning to leave for shanghai on April 28 and return to manila on June 4?
