About:Marco Polo Memorial Museum

can I extend China visa?

the duration of each stay is 30 days. can I extend it? how many times I can extend it and what is the maximum period of each stay?

You can extend the stay duration when you arrive in China, in fact, you will be issued a new visa with another 30 days stay duration stamped on your passport. You can extend the visa twice, it is 30 maximum days of each stay.

where can I extend the L visa in China? or I have to go abroad China and then go back to China to get issued a new visa?

You can extend L visa at the local Exit-Entry Administrative Bureau of Public Security Bureau. If the application is denied in Mainland China, you have to exit China and apply for a China visa overseas, then return to Mainland China.

currently I hold an L visa with multiple entry, 30 days stay duration of each stay. I plan to stay more than 2 months, is it possible to extend it in China? and what are the requirements I should have to extend the L visa in China?

Hi, Mr.Antonio, L visa with multiple entry with 30 days stay duration of each stay is almost the best visa type that issued to visitors. The visa can not be extended. However, You may not get a visa as you wish if you apply again for a new visa, or even not as goog as this one. So, it is not necessary for you to apply for a new visa if current one is still valid. Anyway, leaving for HK or Macao counts an exit and you can back again to mainland China.
