Is it hard for a westerner to live in Wenzhou for a year?

My husband has been offered a position there for his company and I'm worried about what life will be like there. We are a couple in our 50's so we don't have any children coming with us.

Because Wenzhou is famous for it's small commodities industry and wealthy businessman it don't give you the impression of a tourist city with beautiful landscapes and rich cultural background. But if you stay longer in Wenzhou you will find the pearls in the shell. It is not hard for a westerner to live in Wenzhou for a year. Besides the small range of Western food in the local supermarkets, you can purchase Cheese, Bread, Liquor, Meat and more in Wenzhou.
