About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Procedure to apply for working visa in shanghai

My husband is working in shanghai...I would also like to get work permit so that i can work over there...What is the procedure to convert the dependent visa to working visa...can i apply directly for working visa on the basis of my husbands documents

No, Mrs.Madhu, you can not apply for a work visa with your husband's documents. And you should go through the same process as his. So, find yourself a job/position in China, then, your expective employer can apply for you a work permit and required invitation letter for visa application.
