About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I am a Canadian citizen living in South Korea. I need to provide a school in Guangzhou with the details of the particular Chinese Embassy I will be dealing with - such as address and the like. I am quite confused at the moment. Do I have to deal with a designated travel agency or do I deal directly with the Chinese Embassy in Gwanjiu(I live closest to that place). My ARC expires in August and I wish to leave Korea to go to Guangzhou at that time. Please advise.

You need to provide the school in Guangzhou with the details of China Consulate in Guangju, I guess that the school wants to apply for invitation letter for you from Guangzhou Foreign Affairs Office, he/she justs want to know where you plan to apply for China visa. The designated travel agency is just a middleman, the consulate in Guangju is the final unit to assess your application and issue visa to you.
