About:Chinese Consulate in New York

I have a connecting flight from JFK-NYC to Beijing (two hours wait) to Manila, Philipppines. Do I have to acquire a transit visa evenm if I'm not going out of the Beijing Airport, will just transfer plane and catch my flight to Manila? Please advice, I'm leaving on Friday next week, April 29th. Thanks

I have a Philippine passport. Do 48 hour free transit visa applies here?

A visa is not required for you if you won't leave Beijing airport during the two hours wait. 48 hours free transit visa doesn't apply at Beijing airport.
