About:Cantonese Restaurant Desserts

We will be in Beijing on April 29th and have free time after 4:00 PM. We will be at the Double tree by Hilton in Xuanwu. Are there any markets within walking distance (2 to 3 km) and if so what time do they close? We will be looking for jade and pearls, and silk.

My suggestion is that you could go to the Hong Qiao Pearl Market which is the largest in the city. However, you have to take a taxi to get there. The market is located about 7km away from the hotel, but only takes you 15 minutes to get there.
