I have one day to make a nice day trip from Guilin with a Chinese friend in her car, it is between going to the hotsprings and town of Longsheng or Yangshuo. Can anyone tell me about the differences between these two areas and which do you recommend visiting? This is my only chance to see some of Guanxis special charm! Thank you so much for your kind help!

I will recomment Yangshuo, take a cruise from Guilin. Or Longsheng's terraces are beatiful if came in June and July.
