About:Marriage Registration in China

Hi,i have a chinese gf and we want to marry in this year,i want her unmarried certificate and consent letter but she just told me that she already got that certificate in past and cant get again because of some rules,
is there any rule or its a game to run away?

Her unmarried certificate should be within 6 months since issue date. If not, she needs to get a new one from her local civil administration department.
