About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

I have this question: I have Italian passport and I have a flight from Seoul to Shanghai and another flight from Shanghai back to Italy. I know that there is a possibility to get a 48 hours visa in Shanghai but I don't know if it can be applied to my case.

My schedule is: arriving in Shanghai at 10.20 pm and flying away 2 days later at 10.45 pm. So, from exact time of landing and exact time of taking off I will stay in China for 48 hours and 25 minutes. But if we consider the time when I will pass the custom at arrival, approximately 10.30pm, and when I will pass the custom going back, no later then 10.15 pm, I will stay in China for 23 hours and 45 minutes.

So, can you please tell me if I can use 48 hours visa on arrival or if I will be obliged to change my flights?

Thank you very much.
Ciao, Gianni

Hi, sir. It is not a 48 hours visa. It means that you can stay in Shanghai within 48 hours without a visa. Consider about your situation, it is OK for you to make this transfer without a visa.
