About:Dujiangyan Irrigation System

Would it be possible to do the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and the Dujiangyan Irrigation Project on the same day?

It is possible but suggest you hire a van or participate in a private tour with arranged car and guide. It is about 1.5 hours drive from Chengdu to Dujiangyan. Then you will take 2 hours to visit the irrigation.

I would spend minimum 2-3 hours at the Panda Base and 4-5 hours at the Irrigation System. You can visit the Panda Base early morning (opens at 8am) and then take the bullet train to the Irrigation System. It would be exhausting, but it is certainly possible.
