i'm staying at tunxi before going back to hangzhou to catch a flight at midnight.

Question

I'm staying at Tunxi before going back to Hangzhou to catch a flight at midnight. As I've 1 full day free for sightseeing, I was thinking of visiting Qiandaohu. Someone advised me I can leave Tunxi in the morning for Qiandaohu and then return to Hangzhou in the evening.Pls advise me what is the best way to do it. How to go to the ferry terminal and which island must I visit for only half a day tour. Thank you.

There is a bus from Tunxi to Hangzhou every hour from 06:20 to 16:00 daily. It taeks about 3 hours, adn it takes sbout 1.5 hours from Hangzhou to Qiandaohu.  If you go to Qiandaohu from Tunxin, it takea about 2 hours. So you can go to Qiandaohu from Tunxi, and then head for Hangzhou deom Qiandaohu directly. I don;t advise you take the ferry from Huangshan to Qiandaohu, since it will take about 5 hours.
