Hi dear.. I will visit Guilin on 3rd-7th May, 2011. If I am not mistaken, try to avoid May Day (1st-7th May) for holiday trip in Guilin. But, I insist to do so (no choice!!).. Can you give a tip/ guideline if I insist to travel on that time? tq

May Day holiday is in fact May 1-3, so it won't be so crowded during your trip in Guilin 3rd-7th.  However, it is the rainy season of Guilin in May, so remember to take a unbrella and a jacket with you.
