Question

My family and me are British citizen of Indian origin.I am visiting China in the 3rd week of May 2011.My family is currently in India and I am working in Saudi Arabia.We have OCI cards (Overseas Citizen of India)Please answer my following queries: 1. Can my family apply for visa in India? 2. Can I apply for the visa in Saudi Arabia? 3.How many days does it take for processing and obtaining the visa? If it takes less than a week, i would prefer to obtain the visa in India along with my family. 4. What are the required documents ?  5.What is the current visa fee?  Thank you

Do you all have permanent residence or work permit in India valid for at least half a year? if not, you may not able to get a visa there. But you can try to do so since visa officers will consider your special conditions. You can apply for China visa in Saudi Arabia if you work there. And general processing takes 4 working days. The detail requirements are available by clicking the link in the table sccording to your purpose to China. Visa fee + Service fee by the Center for a single entry visa is RS.2610 per person.
