About:China Embassy in Thailand

Hi
I am going to China in May and am looking to stay approximately 6 weeks. If I get a double entry visa and do 25 days in Mainland China and then fly to Hong Kong for a few days, then re-enter China how long can I then stay in China for the second visit, do I get another 30days? Basically what is the total duration of stay on a double entry visa, 2x 30 days? Thank you.
