About:

I am wanting to take a return day trip to Wuxi from Shanghai Railway station on Sept 10

I am staying at the Ramada Gateway Plaza Hotel in Tianyaoqiao Rd in Xuhui District

Is there a subway that I can take to Shanghai Station to connect with a train to Wuxi at about 10am and what time would I need to be at Shanghai Station? - I arrive in Shanghai on Sept 7 - Can I buy a return train ticket at this hotel or is there a nearby place to buy a ticket and how much will it cost?

You can take subway line 1 from Xujiahui station to Shanghai Railway station. You'd better arrive at the train station before 8am. You can buy the ticket upon your arrival at the train station or ask for your hotel to help you book it. It costs about CNY39/47.
