About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

I am flying from Hanoi to California with a transfer at CAN. I have a 3 hour layover, is the transfer relatively easy? Do I also need to go through any immigration or security before transferring to my flight?

No need to go customs and immigration, but security check will be required before you enter into the boarding area. It should be the same all over the world. The procedure is easy for your international transfer here.
