is the airport signed in english, or only in chinesehow long does it typically take for the international to domestic transfer procedure, and visa versa, Im travelling from melbourne to haikou via guangzhou and the reports are scaring me a little

There are Chinese and English signs in the airport.  It typically takes aboit 2 hours to make the transfer from International to Domestic. Do not worry much about it. If you have some trouble, you can ask  the airport staff for help.
