It is about 10km by road from the hotel to Silk Street. The best way fro you is to take subway line 5 from Taianmen East to Dongdan and then transfer to subway line 1 to Yong'anli. Get out of the station, you can walk to Silk Street. It takes about 20-30 minutes and costs abour CNY2.
