How long does it take from Beijing holiday in express hotel- temple of heaven to silk street?

What is the distance to silk street from holiday in express hotel- temple of heaven?
and which is the best way to travel there to save time & cost too .what would be the travel time & fares (bus/train/taxi).

It is about 10km by road from the hotel to Silk Street. The best way fro you is to take subway line 5 from Taianmen East to Dongdan and then transfer to subway line 1 to Yong'anli. Get out of the station, you can walk to Silk Street. It takes about 20-30 minutes and costs abour CNY2.
