how difficult is it to find hotels on the day of arrival. Which area in hong kong has the most budget hotel/hostel for family. thank you

If you do not travel to Hong Kong in its travel peak season, it is easy to find a nice hotel on arrival. As to budget hotel/hostel, you'd better go to Mongkok area, Kowloon City area or Tsuen Wan area to have a visit.
