About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

I am filipino citizen currently and presently working and stay as resident visa here in dubai. I wish to go to china for tourist or shopping? do i need a visa from dubai? or a hotel confirmation?

Yes, you need to apply for a tourist visa to China from Chinese embassy in UAE. A No-objection letter from the applicant's company stating his or her position ,monthly or yearly salary and your resident permit are required. Hotel confirmation is needed only when visa officers deem necessary.
