About:Beijing Subway

Is it difficult to take a big suitcase by subway from Beijing airport to Dongzhimen station during rush hour? Is Jade Garden Hotel far from Dongzhimen station?

Would it be difficult to take a big suitcase on the subway coming from the airport to Dongzhimen station during rush hour? Are the subway train crowded and are there elevators at the station? Do they allow suitcases on the subway trains? I need to go to the Jade Garden Hotel near the Forbidden City. Is it far to walk from Dongzhimen station?

I can also take an airport shuttle bus to the Beijing Train Station but I don't know if they will allow a big suitcase on the bus? Is the Beijing Train station the first stop from the airport?

If I take a taxi, would it be exorbitant during rush hour? I think It should cost around $100 CYN normally but I don't know if it will cost much more during rush hour. That's why I am thinking of taking the bus or the subway. Thanks

It is OK for you to take the suitcase on the airport express train, but it is crowed during rush hour. There is railed elevator at the station. It is far to walk from Dongzhimen station to the hotel since the hotel is at the city center. You'd better catch a taxi after get off the train at Dongzhimen.

From the airport, you can take subway line 3 to Beijing train station. The suitecase is allowed to take on the bus. The train station is the last stop of the bus from the airport.

Except from nighttime, the taxi fare is as usual even during the rush hour.
