About:Chengdu Travel

I am planning to visit Chengdu with my wife end of this month after my business trip in Guangzhou. I only have 3 days to spend in Chengdu .Could you kindly advise me which are the places of interest around the Chengdu region which can accomadate my short stay.
i love food and especially sichuan food so I would appreciate that you can list the good venues for food in Chengdu

Assume u are there for 3 days and 2 nights, and would be staying in the Chunxi Road area. It is an area like Orchard Road. Many food outlets to sample the famous Sichuan Hotpot. Or you can try the samller 'mom & pop' stores for spicy food and it will only cost you about 20RMB for 2 people!
I highly recommend, the LION restaurant. It is about a 15min cab(15-18rmb,depending on traffic)ride from the Chunxi area.
It is directly oppisite the Rainbird International Hotel (Runbang Guoji Jiudian), 249 Shuhan Road. Food there is very good, a mixture of spicy and non spicy foods. What impressed me was, the service. A waitress is assigned to your table and your table only!
And at the end of the meal, she completely refused my tip!!!
