About:China Customs Declaration

I am visiting China - specifically Beijing and Hong Kong. I wanted to bring canned salmon and maple syrup as a gift to my relatives in HK. HK is my last stop on my trip - would it be okay to bring this into the country?

Thanks!

You can bring them into China, but you may have to make a declration and pay some tax if you take too much.
