If you live in seven south western provinces, i.e. Västra götland, Halland, Värmland, Jonkoping, Kronoberg, Skåne, Blekinge, you can deliver visa application by mail.

besides the documents you listed, the original passport and the visa fee should be included, however, the Chinese Consulate-General strongly recommends you to submit your application by person to avoid any lost or damage during mail delivery.
