It is not suggested that you go to Guangzhou from Hong Kong Airport by water. There are only serveral ferry in service everyday, and the ferry terminal is a little far from down Guangzhou.Alternatively, there are frequent buses departing from Hong Kong Airport to downtown Guangzhou, taking about 2.5 hours. You could find the bus schedule and book ticket via the official website of Hong Kong Airport.
