About:China Transit Visa

Dear Sir/Madam,
Please allow me to introduce myself as Grace from Penang, Malaysia. I have applied for a China Visa to enter China using my present passport and has been approved to enter before 14 May 2011. Then I realised that I have made a mistake applying the visa using this passport.
It is because my present passport will expire in a year's time on 18 April 2011 and I will be going to enter Canada after I have visited China, not returning to Malaysia. So I need to apply for a new passport now before I leave Malaysia because I am required to stay in Canada for 2 years upon entering the country to fulfill my PR requirements, before I can come back to Malaysia later. Therefore, I must apply for a new passport now, ahead of time before I leave Malaysia to visit China on 9 April 2011.
Please let me know whether I can enter China in April 2011 with a new passport (need to make one as soon as possible) together with my approved China visa already on my previous (the present one with me) passport, which I will take along both passports together on the 9 April 2011. If I can still use the approved China visa which is on my present passport, then I will not have to waste money for another application of China Visa for my new passport.
Your kind valuable advice is most appreciated. Hope I can receive a quick reply from you.

Thank you very much,
Grace

You can enter China with the visa in your old passport, so, just bring both your old and new passport when travelling, it is ok.
