About:Guilin Transportation

I and my business companions will be staying in Dongguan for several days and will have Saturday and Sunday to sightsee. We're looking into the feasibility of either taking a train or plane to Guilin to perhaps take a short cruise on the Li River. The area looks beautiful! It is difficult for us to tell how long a train or plane ride this is. Is this even possible in two days?

First of all, there is no train or plane from Dongguan to Guilin. You have to make a transfer at Guangzhou, from where the night train will take about 12 hours to Guilin. On the day of arrival, you could take a Li River downtown to Yangshuo, stay one night and fly back to Guangzhou on the next afternoon. A little urgent!
