About:Shanghai Hongqiao Airport

I will be arriving at Pudong Airport, How much is a taxi to Shanghai Hongqiao Train station? And how long will it take. Do I need to purchase my train ticket ahead of time? I am traveling on to Ningbo from there.

The taxi fare will be around CNY220 from Pudong airport to Hongqiao train station. It takes about 40-50 minutes. I think you have no need to take taxi there. You can take the airport shuttle bus line 1 to Hongqiao airport and then walk about 8-10 minutes to Hongqiao train station. It takes about one hour.
You can buy the train ticket on the spot at the train station. Well, if possible, you'd better book it in advance.

you can take subway (Line 2) form pudong airport to hongqiao train station. it takes about 1+1/2 hours.i don't think you need to buy train ticket in advance,as there are many trains almost every half of hour from 7:30AM to 7PM.if you need a guide and translator in Ningbo, you can contact me.Best regards.Geoff Li
