Hi there, I am planning a trip to Haikou. We will be Staying at Sheraton Haikou. May I know how do I get to Le Meridien Shimei Bay Resort from Sheraton Haikou. I also need a car/van to take 4 adults and 2 children for day tour and when in Haikou and Shimei Bay. We would also like to visit Sanya. Please advise and thank you in advance.

From Sheraton Haikou to Le Meridien Shimei Bay Resort, you'd better take bus from Haikou to Sanya, and then take a taxi to the hotel. Car rental is available. As foreign visitors, you should take your passport, resident certificate, Chinese driving license and credit card and expect to pay CNY15,000 to 20,000 as a deposit.When travelling in Haikou City, I think you have no need to rent  a car. You can make full use of the Traveling Viewing Bus in Haikou.

Dear Sara, thank you for your advise. Do you know where I can hire a car with driver for 4adults and 2 children and how much will it cost a day? Is take the fast train to Sanya better than bus as the bus take 3.5hrs. Please advise. Thanks alot.
