About:Hong Kong Transportation

Hi, my husband and i will be arriving in Hongkong International airport via air asia on 28 march 2011 at 945am.From there, we hope to make our way to Somerset Garden City on Nanhai Avenue,Shenzhen to spend a few days there. After which, we will be going back to HOngkong to stay at the Royal Plaza Hotel on Prince Edward Road West.We would be grateful if you could make some suggestions as to the cheapest and best way to travel from HOngkong to Shenzhen and back again. We will only be carrying one bag each.
What would you recommend we see in Shenzhen over our 3 day stay and in HOngkong during our two day stays. We are not interested to visit Disneyland HOng Kong.
Thank you,
Kind Regards,
Mrs Lim

Upon arrival at Hong Kong Airport, you could follow the directions walking to the Inter-borders Coaches to Mainland China. Here, take one of the buses to Shenzhen Bay (深圳湾) which are departed to Shenzhen every 20 minutes and take 50 minutes to Shenzhen Bay. The bus fare is HKD80/adult.

After get off at Shenzhen Bay, Shenzhen, you could hire a cab driving to Somerset Garden City which is located about 3km away. When return to Hong Kong, you could take a bus to Prince Edward Road after go through the customs of Shenzhen Bay.

During the three days in Shenzhen, you could go to the Window of the World, the Splendid China, the Dongmen Street and some wholesale markets. In Hong Kong, you should not miss the Avenue of Stars, the Peak and the Ngong Ping 360 cable car to the Giant Buddha.
