I recommend the Panda Breading Research Center, Jinli old street in the downtown area, The Giant Buddha in Leshan, Qingcheng Mountain, or perhaps Jiuzhaigou. Jiuzhaigou is bit a far from Chengdu.

Hi Lok, there are a lot of places interest surrounding that worth to visit. Maybe you can consider following program:
31/05: Check-in hotel, if have time, can shop at Chunxi Road, or pay a visit to Jinli Street;
01/06: Take a coach ride to Jiuzhaigou. About 7-8 hours drive;
02/06: One day Jiuzhaigou sightseeing tour;
03/06: Jiuzhaigou/Huanglong Park/Maoxian;
04/06: Maoxian/Dujiangyan/Chengdu;
05/06: One day Chengdu city tour: Giant Panda Centre, Wenshu Fang, Kuanzhai Lane etc...
06/06: Chengdu/Huanglongxi Old Town/Leshan Giant Buddha/Emei Town
07/06: One day Mt.Emei sightseeing tour. Tour finish, back to Chengdu.
08/06: Departure back sweet home.

Hi, you have enough time, so you can travel lots of typipcal places in Sichuan.there are many aspects.Here is a route:living in Jinjiang Hotel or other hotels in the 1st. Ring Road.
Central city(D1/D2):D1.Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding;San Xingdui Museum;seening Sichuan Opera after dinner;
D2.Dufu Thathched Cottage;Chengdu Wuhou Temple.
Short trip(D3/D4):Dujingyan Irrigation System;Mt.Qingcheng
Long-distance trip(D5/D6):Mt.Emei; The Giant Buddha of Leshan
or if you have time ,you can go to Jiuzhaigou Nanational Park or Hailuogou Glacier Park. There are many beautiful places in Sichuan,you have lots of of alternatives to choose.
