About:Beijing Capital Airport Shuttle Bus

Is it possilbe to buy the train ticket at the Beijing Railway Station? Which shuttle bus goes from the airport to the railways station the K411 leaves for Weihai?

I am scheduled to arrive at Beijing Airport (PEK) at 16:05, March 9th. I need to get to the correct railway station to catch the K411 train to Weihai that same evening. I cannot reserve a soft sleeper ticket, because I have no hotel room in Beijing to which it can be delivered.

Questions:

1. is it possible to find out at the airport whether any soft sleeper seats remain on the K411?

2. is it possible to buy this railway ticket at the Beijing airport?

3. if not, is it possible to buy a railway ticket with cash at the railway station on the day of departure?

4. Which shuttle bus goes from the airport to the railways station the K411 leaves for Weihai?

5.how much time do I need from the time of boarding the bus to be sure of being able to buy the ticket and get to the departure lounge in time for boarding at the railway station?

1. Impossible to do so.
2. No, the train ticket could not be purchase at Beijing Airport.
3. This will depend on your fortune. Usually, you'd better purchase the train ticket in advance.
4. The train is at Beijing Railway Station. From Beijing Airport, you could take shuttle bus Line 3 to the train station in one hour.
5. diffult to give you a suggestion since not sure whether you could get the ticket on the spot. Why don't you ask this website to purchase the train ticket for you? Seems its staff could send the train ticket to you at the railway station.

Mr. Frank

Thanks for your information and suggestions Mr. Frank. I would like to act on it, but have been told by one of the three online vendors of railway tickets that they can ONLY deliver a ticket to a hotel. Since my enquiry mentioned that I'm flying into Beijing airport and wish to reserve a ticket on a train leaving the same day, I assumed that means the ticket can't be delivered to my airline's customer service counter, or that option would have been mentioned.

Am I assuming too much? At this point it seems I will have to rush to the railway station with my luggage as soon as I get through customs, to see whether I can buy a soft sleeper (the only option, from what I've read, for getting all my luggage on the train). And , if there are no such berths left, or my luggage is not allowed for some reason (too heavy, too bulky, my scuba diving knife too dangerous to public safety, etc..), return to the airport in the hope of getting a seat on the morning flight to Weihai.

Surely there must be a more reasonable way to do this?
