About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

Hi,

I have tried several times to unsuccesfully contact the consular section in Sydney. I am working on behalf of a patient ( I am a Social Worker), who has an expired Chinese Passport with no family living in Australia. His mother sent us through email his passport copies which are not certified. Can you tell me, how do we go about getting him a new passport. Can you send me an application form?. He will not be able to do this in person so I have to help with the process. Please give me a number or directions. It's been very hard to get enywhere so far.

Applicants for Chinese passport have to submit the application in person, you can go the consulate together with him. Please prepare the below documents:
1. three recent passport photos
2. his original Chinese passport and photocopies
3. Australian visa and its copy, if he has obtain the Australian PR for two years, he has to sign the Delcaration of Not Having Joined Australia Nantionality, if he holds Bridging Visa, the certificate of his visa process issued by Australian Immigration Bureau.

It takes 10 working days for processing, the fee is 75 Australian dollars.
