About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

We are intending to visit China and Tibet in June and July this year on an orgaised tour.
With the 60th Anniversary of the Liberation of Tibet, we are concerned by some
tour information being provied, but unconfirmed, that Tibet will be closed to ALL tourists at this time.
Can you please indicate whether this closure is likely or accurate

Tibet is open to all foreign tourists in the year of 2011, the 60th Anniversary of the Liberation of Tibet. Tibet Tourism Bureau tries his best to promote its tourism and propagandize Tibet to the world. Please don't worry, you can still go to Tibet.
