About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

Hello
I am permernant resident in Australia. And I am Vietnamese passport holder. My husband and my daughter are Australian citizen. We wish to visit Hongkong for a week. Could you please let me know what papers I need to have for visa apply.

I could not contact to China consulate even though I waited for hours there for I could not make appointment to apply for visa.
My travel agent said that I might just go to the office in Sydney CBD ( I live 1 hour drive from the city, I can't drive) as they quite busy at this time.

Please give me some advise as tickets almost sold out for Easter season this year.

Thank you

Hanna

Kind regards

Australian passport holders do not need visa to Hong Kong for 90 days. but you need to apply for a HK visa from Chinese embassy or consulate where you reside. The requirements for you are as follows:
1. Completed Visa Application Form for Hong Kong with a passport photograph attached.
2. Your passport with at least 6-month validity and at least 2 blank visa pages and one photocopy of its photo page.
3. valid Australian visa or residence permit as well as entry record to the Consulate General (Original and the copy).
